Description:
Maximum Solar Energy can be produced through Solar Panels if the rays of the sun fall directly on the solar panel i.e. perpendicular to the solar panel. In our conventional installation of solar panels this can be achieved only in the noon time. So there is a daily loss of energy produced in the conventional installation. If we use a Solar tracking system, then it is possible to move the solar panels in the direction of the sun throughout the day. So the solar energy produced will be higher. The increase in energy production can range from 25 to 40 % depending upon type of solar panels used.
RES offers the solution for the above. It is a standalone system with built in astronomical timer. Input of the system is Latitude and longitude of the place of installation and the output will be movement of the motor by a certain angle such that the solar panel is perpendicular to the rays of the sun. The movement Is given to the solar panel structure using a motor and actuator mechanism.
